Access Control

It has become increasingly critical to safeguard our working environment against unwanted intruders and protect sensitive areas from unauthorised entry.

The Access Control System provided by Tempus offers a robust and effective solution to monitor and control access to the protected areas, while at the same time giving the flexibility to manage the day to day operation of the system. Administration is done utilising the Connection Manager Software including features to add and edit authorised users, access levels, time zones, access areas and various other parameters. This system can be integrated into our T&A solution.

Our range of high quality Access Control Hardware is modular, rugged and versatile and together with an array of accessories can be adopted for either internal or external use.

All authorized users are issued with a unique identification card or fob which must be presented to a reader at the access point. Access is then either granted or denied depending on the access levels and access times set for that particular person. These access ‘permissions’ can be set separately for each access point giving full control as to who enters, at which access point and at what time of the day.

Tempus Systems LTD provides a complete cost effective turnkey solution whether it is for a single door requirement or for an integrated system on an enterprise-wide network. Access points can be configured for either one swipe with free exit or with 2 way swipe, requiring a swipe to enter and exit.

The Tempus Access Control System currently supports the following identification technologies: Biometric, Proximity, Wiegand, Magnetic Strip and Barcode, incorporating the latest Access Control technology as it becomes available. Multiple card technologies and card formats can be used on the same Processing Controller making it ideal for multiple tenant applications and for retro fitting existing systems.
